We created this one of a kind pendant by combining the griffin from a vintage stick pin with a hand selected agate mounted in 14k gold

The Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena, was often depicted with an owl, as was her Roman counterpart Minerva. The 14k gold pendant was originally an antique stick pin (circa 1890 1900) that we transformed by removing the pin stem and welding on a 14k gold bail. The owl has dramatic glass eyes and measures 0. 9 inches from top to bottom by 0. 65 inches wide. It is in great condition.
