Medium bodied, with good length and weight on the palate, showing beautiful balance between the fresh acidity, fruit concentration and firm but fine grained tannins. Made from high quality, low yielding grapes from hillside (laderas) vines on limestone soils. About a quarter of the wine is aged for 4 6 months in new barriques of top quality French and American oak, for added complexity
