Tree & Sky large scale painting Condition: Tiny hairline cracks in20th century French School oil painting on wood signed G. Dubois (19th 20th century). Dated "summer 1905" on the back, along with an inscription. The work has some texture to the touch. This small painting, with its wild colors and radiant sky, was purchased in Nice but looks like the Loire Valley or another more central landscape. The sky is incredible in this landscape, with clouds and light radiating from all directions. The paint used is generous.
