Super Bloom 187 - Bird of Paradise / Light Bright Screenprint east London in spring 2022I love the idea of a Bird of Paradise. A signal from Mother Nature that beauty bursts forth from random places. Whenever I see one, I think of tropical getaways. The Bahamas, Bali, Fiji, Hawaii! Hold on, let me pack my bags! This is a hand painted piece I create this by painting directly onto a silkscreen and transferring the image to the paper beneath using a squeegee. What I love about it are the imperfections and unexpected marks that occur by
