Sapphire 1.04 ct other with very minor purplish secondaryA greyish blue sapphire from small scale mining in Ilakaka, Madagascar. The rough was purchased as unheated at the mine, but it has not yet been submitted to the lab. Over 90% of these rough pieces are unheated, though sometimes miners heat the rough directly at the mine. For this reason, we offer this sapphire as heated (even though it is very likely unheated) until it is verified by our lab. We will update the treatment status as soon as possible.
