Usually we recommend having these in strong light and keeping them evenly moist but not drenched

We highly recommend using this for propagating, acclimating sensitive tropicals, making Kokedama, making mounts, and potting orchids. Hydrate with water and you're ready to use. Some suggest boiling your substrates but we've never had any issues straight out of the bag for years especially with the higher grade sphagnum.
