The outer measurement is 7. 75" square, all those serpentine scalloped edges intact and not broken away. The box is about 3 8" thick (sidewalls) and interior compartment, so nicely preserved with its original silk lining, is 5 5 8" square. So pretty, and perfect now for jewelry or display. A monogram at
